About
Typically found in Southeast Asia and parts of Australia, this fern thrives in humid, tropical environments. With plenty of water and bright, indirect sun, it can grow up to five feet.

Never place this fern in direct light as it can scorch and damage the foliage of the plant. A Crocodile Fern will also do quite well in lower lighting conditions.
The soil should never dry out completely. Do not water directly onto the leaves but instead into the soil surrounding the plant, or use bottom watering.
The ideal temperatures are between 65 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit. Colder temperatures might cause the growth to slow down.
Use a diluted water-soluble fertilizer specifically formulated for ferns, only during spring and summer.

Story
Typically found in Southeast Asia and parts of Australia, Microsorum musifolium is native to tropical areas of southern Myanmar, Indonesia, Borneo, Philippines, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, New Guinea, Thailand, and Australia. It usually grows in very humid and shaded locations and thrives in tropical environments. It's naturally found growing in forests' floors.
Like many other ferns, this plant is epiphytic in nature. This means that, in its natural habit, the Crocodile fern has the ability to grow attached to trees or even in between rock cracks.
